Dr. Hayter grew up in Tustin, California, and earned a Master’s degree in Fine Arts prior to becoming a veterinarian. He published poetry in several national publications before his love of animals led him to pursue his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Auburn University where his interests included internal medicine, dentistry, and exotic species. He was fortunate enough to enjoy the opportunity to intern at the prestigious San Diego Zoo where he worked with all manner of species, including a panda bear, a cheetah, a cougar, and a polar bear. Subsequently, Dr. Hayter trained in veterinary acupuncture at the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society and can perform this treatment on your pets (ask today!). Dr. Hayter and his wife, Catherine, are the proud parents of three young children, a cockapoo named Skywalker, and five silky chickens.

Michele has always had a soft spot in her heart for animals, especially dogs and cats. When she isn’t at work, she has a teenager and two huskies at home to keep her busy. Most of the time, you can find her at the Laguna Beach dog park getting her dogs out for exercise or at the beach getting some sun.

Abigail is a graduate from the University of Montana with a Bachelors of Science degree in Wildlife Biology. Her family has always made time and space for rescues, which inspired Abigail’s love for animals. At home, she adores her two black cats Simon and Teddy, and her tuxedo cat, Daisy.
CSR/Office Manager
Heather is a graduate from Cal State Long Beach and has always had a huge love of animals, and worked in the pet care field throughout her adulthood. Her home was known as the petting zoo by her neighbors due to her assortment of exotic pets. When she isn’t at work, she has a leopard gecko, bearded dragon, hognose snake, white’s tree frog, 3 bunnies and 2 cats at home to devote her love and care to.
